The Illegal Money lenders (loan sharks) team is part of Trading Standards, based on our doorstep at Birmingham City Council. We work together as part of the local Financial Inclusion Partnerships, spreading the message warning against borrowing from lenders who are not registered with the Financial Conduct Authority. We are also grateful for their help funding some of our publicity materials – posters, leaflets and pull-up banners.
