This only affects Members with an Engage Account with sort code 62-30-53. It is currently not possible to transfer money in or out of your account from external bank accounts. Members with an Engage Account won’t be able to transfer funds in or out from a bank account to their Engage Account. This will also affect Members receiving benefits or other deposits directly to their Engage Account. The transaction will be returned to the originating bank account.
ATM withdrawals and point of sale transactions are unaffected and share withdrawals and loan payments onto Engage Accounts are not affected.
Benefits and other payments paid directly to Advance Credit Union are not affected. Share withdrawals and loans will be paid onto Members’ Engage Accounts as usual.
