Advance Credit Union receives funding from Fair4All Finance

Mar 17, 2025

Advance Credit Union is delighted to announce that we have been awarded funding through Fair4All Finance’s Community Finance Resilience Fund, a vital initiative supporting community finance providers during the ongoing cost-of-living crisis.

Fair4All Finance is dedicated to improving financial resilience by increasing access to fair and affordable financial products and services, particularly for vulnerable groups in society. Credit unions and Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) play a crucial role in providing ethical financial solutions to individuals who may be excluded from mainstream banking.

The Community Finance Resilience Fund, designed in response to the economic challenges facing low-income households, ensures that not-for-profit lenders like Advance Credit Union can sustain and expand access to fair credit. The grant will strengthen our ability to offer responsible lending solutions, helping members avoid high-cost borrowing alternatives.

Faye Bailey, General Manager of Advance Credit Union, said, “ We are delighted to receive this funding from Fair4All’s Community Financial Fund. We share the same objective – to improve financial resilience within our Community. This will help us strengthen the services we provide. With the support of the grant, we have introduced a mobile app for our members, updated our website, simplified our loan application process and much more. Enabling our members to pursue their financial objectives, supporting them on their journey and helping them to build financial resilience is at the heart of what we do.”
